Commerce & Revenue Cloud
RSC Standard builds and extends Salesforce commerce and revenue systems for organizations that need precise control over how products are sold, priced, and billed — at the architecture and code level, not the configuration surface.
Overview
RSC Standard builds and extends Salesforce commerce and revenue systems for organizations that need precise control over how products are sold, priced, and billed. Whether the work involves a high-traffic B2C storefront, a structured B2B buyer portal, or a multi-tier CPQ and billing engine, we engage at the architecture and code level — not the configuration surface. Our implementations are designed to hold up under real transaction volume and evolve without accumulating technical debt.
Commerce and Revenue Cloud projects fail most often at the integration layer and in the gap between quoting logic and billing execution. We focus specifically on those failure points: catalog architecture, pricing rule design, subscription lifecycle management, and the handoffs between systems that handle orders, invoices, and revenue recognition.
Includes: B2C Commerce (SFRA), Salesforce B2B Commerce, Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing), Quote-to-Cash Automation
What We Do
- Implement and customize B2C storefronts using Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA), including cartridge development, checkout flow engineering, and performance optimization for high-scale consumer traffic
- Build B2B Commerce buyer portals with complex product catalogs, account-based pricing, contract entitlements, and approval workflows native to the Salesforce platform
- Design and code Revenue Cloud CPQ configurations, including rule-driven and AI-assisted guided selling logic, covering multi-tier pricing, bundle logic, discount schedules, approval matrices, and guided selling rules
- Implement Salesforce Billing for subscription and usage-based models, amendment and renewal automation, and revenue schedule generation
- Engineer the Quote-to-Cash pipeline end to end — from opportunity through quote, order, invoice, and payment — with clean, governed handoffs between Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and downstream financial systems.
- Integrate commerce and revenue systems with ERP, tax engines, payment gateways, and external fulfillment platforms via REST, SOAP, platform events, and event-driven messaging where real-time revenue state matters.
What to Expect
Engagements begin with a scoped discovery focused on your product model, pricing rules, and existing system boundaries. We produce an architecture document before any build begins, covering data model decisions, integration contracts, and known edge cases in your pricing or billing logic. Development is iterative with defined milestones, and we document every custom component and configuration decision so your internal team can operate and extend the system after go-live.
Client Benefits
- Commerce storefronts and buyer portals built to your actual transaction patterns, not generic demo configurations
- CPQ logic that accurately reflects your pricing model without workarounds that break during amendments or renewals
- Billing automation that reduces manual revenue operations while supporting audit-ready, governed revenue recognition.
- Integrations that are explicitly designed and tested, not stitched together after the fact
- A documented, maintainable system your team can own — not one that requires the original implementer to interpret
When to Choose This
This practice is the right fit when your commerce or revenue requirements are too complex for out-of-the-box configuration — when you have non-standard pricing structures, high catalog volume, subscription amendment logic, or a storefront that needs to perform and convert at scale. It is also the right fit when a previous implementation has left you with a system that works inconsistently, is difficult to change, or has accumulated logic that nobody fully understands.
